What We Do

TenderCare Services connects individuals with highly trained and compassionate caregivers, including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs). Whether it’s help with medication management, mobility assistance, or companionship, caregivers referred by TenderCare tailor their services to meet the unique needs of each client. Our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we care for is at the heart of everything we do.

The TenderCare Story

Purchased by husband-and-wife team, Alan Pearce and Linda Nicol, after their move to Florida, TenderCare Services is a family-owned and operated Nurse Registry serving Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Palm Beach Counties. With a legacy of compassionate caregiving that began in the UK, Linda brings her expertise as a nurse and healthcare business owner to TenderCare. For over 30 years, TenderCare has proudly referred their clients to trusted, qualified caregivers and remains committed to helping families navigate elder care with confidence and support.

  • 1986

    Linda establishes Roden Hall a 92-bed nursing home in England, after years of experience as a nurse and healthcare visitor. This year also marks the birth of her daughter, Annabel!

  • 1988

    During a trip to Florida with her business partner, Linda researches a chartering opportunity with a 72’ catamaran, “Serendy.” She meets a British naval architect and falls in love with the Stuart area, sparking a desire to make it her future home.

    Linda founds Partnership Care, a home health care company that grows to provide 6,000 hours of care weekly, earning her the title of Local Businesswoman of the Year.

  • 2005

    Linda sells her company to pursue a move to Florida.

  • 2008

    After a lengthy application process, Linda and Alan relocate to Florida full-time.

  • 2009

    The couple acquires TenderCare Services, applying for a Nurse Registry license to refer caregivers. They join the Private Care Association for industry insights. Annabel joins the family business the following year.

  • 2011

    Son Edward comes on board as Business Development Officer. The family opens a second location, TenderCare Associates, in North Palm Beach.

  • 2015

    The family launch TransMobility, offering non-emergency medical transportation, with Edward overseeing operations and Alan driving clients as needed.

  • 2018

    After a decade in business, Linda and Alan retire to focus on travel photography, passing daily operations to Annabel. The family celebrates becoming American citizens!

  • 2019

    Jodi joins as Director of Care Services, followed by Wendy, who assists with caregiver signup and credentialing.

  • 2020

    Jodi becomes Alternate Administrator as the team navigates the challenges of COVID-19. TransMobility is sold, and Edward returns to England.

  • 2021

    Stacey joins to help with invoicing and caregiver signup, and the office mascot, Pudding, makes his debut.

    Brooke joins the team as Jodi’s assistant.

  • 2023

    TenderCare becomes accredited by the Caregiver Registry Standards Board, making it the only local company on the Treasure Coast to hold this status.

    Celebrating 30 years in Martin County, TenderCare is nominated in the top 3 for the Community’s Choice Awards. Annabel joins the board of directors for the Private Care Association, and Jodi becomes a shareholder in the company.
