We take the time to establish the client’s individual needs, requirements and preferences during a free initial meeting at your convenience. We strive to always provide a choice for our clients, enabling them to live comfortably, independently and happily within their home or assisted living facility.
It can be hard when a family member or loved one develops the need for some level of assistance to maintain independence within their home. We place great importance on providing extremely caring individuals with the goal of maintaining our client’s dignity and independence as though it was a member of the family providing their care.
Matching Clients and Caregivers Successfully
We believe that a successful relationship between client, family and caregiver stems from matching the client with the right caregiver according to both needs and personalities. We take the time to get to know new clients during their free initial start-up assessment and do the same with our caregivers during their interviews and orientations so that we are able to make great matches.
We offer the opportunity to personally interview caregivers, and for those people who live out of state, we also offer the ability to interview caregivers on Skype or over the telephone, further adding to the success of the matching process. We always accompany caregivers on their first call to a new client to make introductions and ensure that the client and caregiver are compatible.
Home Care Solutions:
Assistance with everyday activities: go shopping, go to the movies, meet friends, enjoy meals - let us help you to enjoy life as you would normally.
Hands-on assistance with showering and bathing, grooming, using the bathroom, range of motion and ambulating exercises and much more in order to keep you happily independent.
Skilled nursing help with medication management, ongoing wound/injury care, overseeing physician’s ongoing care plans as well as assessing changes in a condition over time. Ensuring family members are offered the peace of mind that their loved ones are happy, safe and extremely well cared for.
Companion, personal or nursing care, offered up to 24 hours a day seven days a week.
When the family or primary caregiver, requires a break from the responsibilities of providing ongoing care, we offer flexible short-term care solutions to fill in.
A caregiver will drive you to and from any appointments such as grocery shopping, Dr’s appointments, general errands or simply a trip to the beach and assistance for the duration of the journey.
A specialist nursing service to organize medical appointments, accompany you to them, write a report for the family and subsequently implement a care plan or follow up on any medical recommendations.
Insurance Policies
TenderCare Services can accept payment from various long-term care insurance companies. If you have a long term insurance policy, please feel free to give us a call and let us discuss your options. As a private duty company, Medicare and Medicaid are not covered; however we work closely with a Home Health registry and upon request would happily pass on any referrals.
