In-Home Companion Care
Companion Care focuses first and foremost on social interaction, as well as assistance maintaining the household. Companions or Homemakers as they are often referred to, provide help at home allowing our clients to stay confident and independent as well as giving peace of mind to their loved ones.
Our Homemaker/Companions provide a wide range of companion care services, including:
- Companionship and socialization
- Transportation to appointments or to run errands
- Provide a steadying hand and guidance when walking
- Basic cosmetic assistance such as help with make-up, brushing hair, nail care etc
- Light house-keeping, vacuuming, laundry, meal preparation etc
- Monitoring the on-going condition of the client and reporting any changes
